About me

About Me
I’m Claudia, an Integrative Psychotherapist with over two decades of experience working with individuals who often carry a lot — women navigating demanding careers, family responsibilities, or simply the weight of always being the one who holds everything together. Many of the people I work with appear strong and capable to others, yet inside feel exhausted, unseen, or unsure of how to keep going in the way they have been.
Over the years, I’ve come to understand how deeply early experiences, relational patterns, and emotional neglect can shape how we move through life. It’s not always obvious pain — often it shows up as burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, or a quiet loneliness. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate space where those inner experiences can be acknowledged and understood, without judgment or pressure.

Why choose me?
In my private practice in the West End and Golders Green, I provide a confidential, supportive environment where we can explore the emotional blocks that are preventing you from thriving. I combine relational psychotherapy with creative arts techniques and mind-body practices to promote long-lasting emotional resilience and growth.
I offer both individual therapy and group workshops and trauma-informed training for professionals working in high-demand environments. My goal is to help you break free from limiting beliefs, heal relational wounds, and regain the emotional clarity and confidence necessary to create a more fulfilling, balanced life.
I have a particular focus on people who are experiencing burnout, work-related stress, busy family-household demands, intercultural family conflict, or relational challenges that are impeding their overall well-being. I also specialize in trauma-informed therapy to support those affected by childhood neglect, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, and other challenging early life experiences. My compassionate, relational approach helps clients gain the emotional clarity and resilience needed to thrive both personally and professionally.
How I Work
Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I work relationally and with somatic awareness, meaning we pay attention to both your emotional world and the ways your body has learned to carry stress or protect itself. Together, we gently explore patterns — perhaps overworking, people-pleasing, or finding it hard to express needs — not to criticise them, but to see where they came from and whether they are still needed.
Clients often tell me they appreciate the calm, reflective pace of our sessions. Some come for support around a particular issue; others choose to go deeper, especially when there are long-standing feelings linked to childhood emotional neglect, relational trauma, burnout, or feeling disconnected from themselves or others.

Background and Experience
My training includes a Postgraduate Diploma and a Master’s in Integrative Psychotherapy. I also hold a BSc in Psychology. I have worked in private practice, the NHS, charities, schools, and with professionals in high-pressure roles. I allocate part of my clinical work to partner with organisations supporting survivors of sexual violence, domestic abuse, trafficking, and modern slavery — work that continually shapes my understanding of resilience and trauma.
I’ve helped many individuals heal from relational difficulties, emotional neglect, trauma, and stressful life transitions.
As a public speaker and wellbeing consultant, I also address topics related to trauma-informed practices, gender-based violence, and mental health awareness, stress management, burnout which further informs my work with clients dealing with complex emotional distress.
I integrate relational therapy, creative approaches, and body awareness, tailoring the process to each person. There is no rush here, only the space to move at a pace that feels safe.

Where I Practise
I offer in-person sessions in Golders Green and Central London (near Oxford Circus), as well as online sessions for individuals across the UK. Whether you’re feeling burnt out, at a crossroads, or simply longing for a place where you don’t need to be “fine,” therapy can be a place to pause, reflect, and slowly reconnect with yourself.

If any of this resonates with you — if you feel outwardly capable but inwardly tired — you’re welcome to get in touch. You don’t have to have everything figured out. Sometimes, the first step is simply not carrying it alone.
